Following the enormous success of this event in its sell-out first year in 2012 and another brilliant year in 2013, this challenging Half Marathon is part of Active Outdoor Sport’s calendar of Cross Country themed events based around the trails of Fritton Lake Country Park and surrounding woodland.
Terrain/Route
The route is a single lap around the Somerleyton Estate and will go through woodland, alongside marshy areas, along off road tracks with a small section on the road. The course is flat/undulating with some shorter steeper hills set to push you to the limit! Trail running shoes are highly recommended for this event!
Trophies/prizes
Presentation of trophies for the top three finishers will take place 30 minutes after the third place finish. Age group trophies will be presented at the end of the race.
